Nagarkot Dohori

If you are wondering how Nepali folk songs sound, be certain that Nagarkot Dohori Saanjh will satisfy your inquisitiveness. Everyday after 7.00 pm, local artists perform Dohori songs—a local genre in which the singing girls and guys tease and pretend to quarrel with each other, spontaneously taking turns, using songs. The songs presented are indigenous to Kaski and Lamjung district of Nepal. An evening spent at Nagarkot Dohori will not only give you a cultural perspective on Nepal, but might also improve your singing skills as audience interaction is significantly visible!!

G.S.’s Terrace

Wondering what to do after a long tiring day? Well….throw away your backpacks and head to G.S.’s Terrace. With live bands performing English and Nepali rock numbers every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, there is no better way to get refreshed. Mouth watering German delicacies along with a big screen T.V for football freaks will definitely enhance the musical experience. The band performs after 6.30 pm on the days mentioned above.

Himalayan Mountain Bikes

Himalayan Mountain Bikes(HMB) is organizing Professional Development Courses (PDC) for the adventurously inclined individuals from March 21 to 25, and April 8 to 10. These PDCs are basically outdoor based leadership development training programs without the boring PowerPoint presentations and plethora of handouts. HMB also organizes daily rafting and canoeing trips to popular destinations like Bhotekoshi, Kaligandaki, Marshayangdi, to name a few. For more information call 4700894 and 4426329.
